Dear members of the faculty, researchers and postgraduate students please consider the following points in the use of data and the possible information in bio bank of Azar Cohort and also in the publication of its scientific results:

 

• The method of the implementation of each article should be accompanied by the reference to the extraction of it from the cohort project in a form like: The Persian study results of Azar cohort.
•  In all of the articles and the summary of the articles resulted from this project at least one of the members of of Azar Cohort study (whether he/she has participated in the preparation of the article) will be a list of authors.
•  According to the agreement between them, the address of the liver and gastrointestinal diseases research center, Tabriz university of medical scinces should be mentioned as an address in the article with the name of the center alone or before the department of the research center.
• ·         In the thesis related to Azar Cohort project, the title should be chosen in such a way that can refer to Azar Cohort.
• It is necessary to mention the name of Azar Cohort in the title and also in the implementation of the project. This obligation would be due to the submission of the project results in the form of any form or other form in the internal or external congress.
•  After the projects is approved , the other person or group can not make the similar project. The bidders have time for 12 months to start the project and if it does not begin whitin this period, the appoval will expire and the other members can propose and start a similar project. The requesting group can provide a justificable addition on  the cause of delay (for example: the need to find financial assistance) which would be approved by the Central Committee.
•  During this period, the requesting group shall transmit the progress stages to the Central Committee at the specified times in the Memorandum of Understanding.
•  Members involved in cohort projects may be interested in publishing information in other forms except for scientific articles (such as the abstract of a conference and report to the sponsored financial support organization). These points as well as scientific articles are subject to the rules of Azar Cohort. The rights of all individuals involved in the research project should be observed.

Note:

The article and its abstract must be offered to the supervisor, scientific team and consultants of Azar Cohort in order to investigate and it should be done at least 10 days before submitting to journals and the Congress.

 

Authorship rules

Any person identified as an author should be included in the following sections:

1.  Definition and design of this project, achieving data, laboratory testing, data analysis and interpretation of the results.

2.  Preparing a drafting or revision of the text in which presenting of the important semantic content is significant.

3.  Final ratification of the version

*At the publication stage, the author must have all three conditions.

*A precise definition of the authors should be determined according to the proposal of the cohort projects. The conflicts between the authors are resolved by the members of the Central Committee.

 

The general principles about the suggestion of the research plan and also the use of the results of Azar Cohort

If the plan is accepted, the continuation of the following stages will be required:

4. The completion of the legal form and also intellectual property

5. To transfer the necessary data to the researcher

6. To perform analytical operations

7.The request for the data output

8. Submission the results to the university consultants team and also the approval of the university team

9. Preparation and compilation of the article

10.  Submission the article to the executives and the scientific team of Azar Cohort

11.  The agreement of the university consultant team to publish the article

12.  The agreement and submission of the article to valid journals

13.  Returning the clear information and new variables to a university server

 

Note:

The researcher is responsible for transferring the data and new results of the Azar Cohort information to the scientific team of the Azar Cohort.
