This stage consists of different sections:

The history of fertility

Questions were asked from the female participants about the first age of pregnancy, abortion history, stillbirth, the number of deliveries,contraceptive method , menopause time and screening tests (breast examination, mammography and pap smear).

The history of chronic diseases

In this stage the medical history was taken from the participant which was included the history of disease, the age at the diagnosis and treatment time, the used drugs and laboratory histories, types of cancers, epilepsy, psychiatric disorders, learning disorders, memory disorder and the history of various diseases.

Family History

In this stage the diseases which are seen in the family of an individual were mentioned by choosing the relative family to a participant.

Oral and dental Health

In this stage, the examination and registration of the oral and dental condition of the individuals was carried out and the number of healthy, stuffed, rotten and corroded teeth was checked and recorded.

The measurement of blood pressure and heart rate

The blood pressure and the number of heart rate of the individuals were measured twice, based on the blood pressure measurement protocol in Persian Cohort. Using Riester Sphygmomanometer, the blood pressure was measured twice from each arm for10 minutes and based on the protocol, the pulse of a participated person was also measured twice.

Body examination and physical disabilities

In this stage baldness, hairsutism, iris color and spinal disorders were examined.

Individual habits

In this stage the habits of the individual were examined in terms of using cigarettes and other smoking, a variety of drugs and alcohol.
